Greta Thunberg ‘Toolkit’ case: Activist arrested from Bengaluru for collaborating with separatist groups to spread disaffection against the Indian State

Delhi Police have arrested 21-year-old Disha Ravi from ​​Bangalore in connection with a anti-India toolkit shared by international environmental activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter. The toolkit called for insurrection against the Indian state in the name of expressing solidarity for the farmers.

The Delhi police arrested the activist on Saturday from her home in Soladevananahalli in the city. She was taken to Delhi for preliminary inquiry. Disha was produced before the Patiala House Court in Delhi. The court granted five days police custody of the activist.

Disha Ravi is accused of being the main conspirator in the creation, editing and sharing of the anti-India toolkit. Delhi police have said that Disha also started a WhatsApp Group and collaborated to make the Toolkit document. She further worked closely with anti-India NGOs to draft the document.

“In this process, they all collaborated with pro Khalistani Poetic Justice Foundation to spread disaffection against the Indian State. She was the one who shared the Toolkit Doc with Greta Thunberg”, say Delhi Police.

Once the toolkit with incriminating details was accidentally shared in public by Greta Thunberg, Disha was the one who asked Greta to remove the main document say police.

“This is many times more than the 2 lines editing that she claims”, say the police.

Since her arrest, many intellectuals, Congress leaders and some in the media have expressed their support for Disha.
