His strategic approach illustrates India’s ambition to rise as a world power together with its positioning among evolving global political dynamics.
India-China Relations: The Bond of Ancient Civilizations
During his Podcast with Lexman, Modi traced the extraordinary bond between India and China by referring to them as “two ancient civilizations” that share historical connections. The current Indian-Chinese relationship stands at the intersection between challenging each other as well as working together and experiencing occasional hostile changes. The strategic alliance between these countries becomes essential because of the escalating competition between the United States and China. India pursues its national interests through bilateral partnerships with both Trump and Modi to avoid becoming part of the U.S.-China geopolitical confrontation.
A Call to End Western Hegemony
